Necklace Sets
Necklace sets are one of the widest-variety button styles ABM offers, letting you turn your own artwork into a fashion-forward necklace. You supply the artwork and the chain — we supply everything else needed to make it.
How to make a necklace set
Necklace sets go together the same way any ABM button does — the necklace back and chain hardware simply replace the pin or magnet back. Here's the general process:
- Cut your artwork to size using the correct cutter for the 1.5″, 1.75″ or 2.25″ set you're making — this can be your own printed graphic or a fabric-covered monogram/initial design.
- Load the shell into your ABM button maker along with your cut artwork and the mylar.
- Assemble the necklace back in place of a standard pin or magnet back, then press as you would any button.
- Attach the tab and jump ring included with the necklace set, then add your own chain to complete the look.
Because ABM supplies the parts, pieces, and directions, you have the freedom to create any style of chunky necklace you want — you just bring the artwork and the chain.
